I know I'm going to get blasted for this video but we tried to do everything we could to save this house and we got extremely lucky. We were able to stop it and it jumped the road and burnt all the way around it on both sides. That was one of the scariest things I've ever tried to do.

    just a tip for you. If you need to do this again go to the black and fight from the black. Also because the wind is going in you direction you are gettinguall the smoke and with the wind behind you you put out more fire and use less water and it will not get dispersed...

    look im not a fire fighter , but on these long lines of grass fires , can you bring out a huge hairy ass cat bull dozer with like a 20 foot wide plow , and plow baby plow , as for those hay bails dig a big hole and burry them save water for the bigger fire ???

    • @jrockyhill
      @jrockyhill 28 дней назад

      @markashcraft9624 sure you could do that but there's no shortage of water here and our style is way faster a bulldozer would be slow and let the fire extend possibly damaging more property not every style Works in every area ideally if you had a second truck backing up the first truck you could run about 10 mph on a heavy fire and put the whole thing out in one shot without damaging hay Fields with a big bulldozer blade
